Here’s the note from Jessica. Echo Mountain Recording is doing just fine:

We are currently not putting out any new releases on our label. We’re
keeping the back catalog and will continue to work that, so the label
is actually folding per se. We are just not focusing on any new
albums at the moment.

I had the same thing happen, NotANoise, and realized that it was that PublicAccess video or whatever it was he posted, which now seems to be fixed (for me at least) since it isn’t on the main page anymore.

So, Ash, why am I getting a radio feed – apparently – through your Web site? A secret way to enhance revenue? Pretty annoying.

Emmet – Read it again… It IS slightly confusing. Echo Mtn. ‘Recording’ is different than Echo Mtn. ‘Records’. One is a recording studio for making music, and the other is a record label that sells albums.

Also, like the original post, the correct term is ‘per se’.

i know it must be hard in these times …
thought it was cool that Asheville has its own label with 3 talented artists on its roster.

Is this written right? It reads like they are not folding per say but says that they are.
