theAVL.com ready to launch; will be one-stop-shop for all Asheville-related videos

I was wondering when somebody would come along and create an aggregate site for Asheville video. Now I know. Here’s loyal reader Bob from theAVL.com:

Hi Jason,

I’m about to launch a website in Asheville called theAVL.com. Was wondering if you can do a shout out about it on your awesome blog! We just have a ‘coming soon’ page on the site for now.

Basically, theAVL.com is a website where all of the content is LIVE  streaming and uploaded videos posted by and for Asheville. For now, people can submit their videos to [email protected] and follow @theAVLdotcom on Twitter for the latest updates. www.qik.com and www.ustream.com are great websites people can visit to set up live streams via their smart phones. And of course, youtube, vimeo, etc. links can be submitted as well, along with a brief description of the video.
