Announcing the request for proposals for the Buncombe County Medical Society & Alliance Endowment (BCMS&A Endowment) 2010 grant cycle. Applications are available March 1st and due Friday, April 16th by 5:00pm. Applications available online here. Questions may be directed to Jana Kellam at 828-274-2267, ext. 305.

The BCMS&A Endowment is a charitable fund founded in 1998 by the physicians of the Buncombe County Medical Society and their families to support and encourage organization and programs dedicated to improving the health of people in Buncombe County. Each year, the BCMS&A Endowment awards grants to one or more Buncombe County health-related organizations.   

The following organization received a grant in 2009:

All Souls Counseling received funding to pay for direct psychiatric care for low-income, uninsured patients in Buncombe County.
