I recently received this note from loyal reader and colleague Lisa:

There’s a new restaurant in the BB&T building (on the college street side) called Bella Kitchen: Homemade Italian and America Take-out. They brought us by a menu which I’ll leave in the kitchen. They actually seem affordable – breakfast biscuits for less than $2, muffins for 99¢, pizza slices for $2.39 with a drink for just 50¢ more – and reasonable subs, sandwiches,etc. They also do milkshakes and healthy smoothies.
