The Type-A Mom Conference coming to Asheville in September will bring dozens of big-name mommy bloggers to Asheville. It’s quite an incredible line-up of influential speakers and presenters. These women are trend-setters and taste-makers. They know what they want, and they tell it to the world through the power of their Web sites.

And you thought blogging was dead.

Super-connected mommy blogger Kelby Carr has organized the event to help these women connect. Carr is recognized as one of the most influential people in social media circles – period – and she’s organized an event around one of the most sought-after demographics out there. What I like about the event is that it will showcase talented women and the strength of their networking.
