Via Scrutiny Hooligans:

The Media Arts Project has been connecting artists to money and to each other for years.  The third annual Media Arts Advantage Fund is another important part of the work of the MAP.

Grants for $6,000, $4,000, and $2,000 are available to artists who enter this juried event:

Projects may fit into, but are not limited to, the following categories.  These categories are by no means proscriptive.  They are simply meant to suggest and encourage a broad array of submissions:

  • Video & Film Productions
  • Animations & Mixed Digital Media
  • Live Performance Integrating Multimedia Technology
  • Generative Art & Gaming
  • Data Visualization
  • Curatorial Efforts Presenting Media Art
  • Variable Media Installations

The deadline for entries is May 31st.
