As I noted here, Saturday is Free Comic Book Day, and Asheville comic shops are participating. 

Comic Envy on Kenilworth Knolls and Pastimes on whatever Merrimon Avenue turns into as you head Weaverville way are participating. I haven’t heard from the Sword & the Grail, nor from Hero Hunter Comics out in Candler. Isn’t there a Blue Ridge Comics, and a comics shop in Fletcher? Haven’t heard from them, either.

    Sword and the Grail will be charging .50 cents for the free comics on free comics day.
