Biba Golic is bringing sexy back to table tennis. Wait. Has ping pong ever been sexy? Probably not. But Biba is making it hot, with a little help from ESPN. Biba, Ashvegas salutes you.

how about posting some hot shirtless, well-endowed men on here in addition to the bimbo babe athletes? lots of asheville ladies will enjoy the male beefcake, and it will be a huge hit among our local gay male population.

if ash is going to move in this direction for the blog, i say fair play for both hunks and hunkettes!

let’s see how far he goes!

Jenny, you sure seem to be a curmudgeon. Based on WHAT is this woman a bimbo?

I’m a woman, I play sports and I don’t mind looking good when I do. I guess you think FloJo was a bimbo? No woman wore tighter, shorter clothes, had a longer hairweave or fingernails than she did, but she sure wasn’t a "bimbo." She looked good and she kicked ass. Just like Gabrielle Reece. A hot , half-naked volleyball player and a model. (And a wife and mother!)

If men — and women — look at Biba and think she’s hot, more power to her. She rocks.

    No, no, no.

The entertainment value doesn’t lie in the bimbosity of the poser, per se, surely that was a mere afterthought — perhaps even subconscious — for our fine Ash. Rather, the value lies in the ironic juxtaposition of implied sexuality accompanied by an imagined audio track that sounds like that little dance that the dog does on the linoleum when it really needs to take a leak.

    Clickety, clickety, clickety-clack-clickety.

If you worked the irony out on the blackboard it would look like this: (sex) clickety (sex) clickety (hot spandex) clickety-clack-clickety = irony.

That’s what attracted Ash (intellectually) to this image. Us, too.

    Thanks for passing it along!

I think castigating a woman as a "bimbo" for doing nothing but unintentionally being attractive to men is patently unfair to this athlete. Ash, don’t give in to other’s insecurity issues, you don’t have to apologize for being heterosexual.
