If you need any more proof that the real estate business is at the heart of our current economic skid, then look no further than the bankruptcy filing of Kasey Realtors LLC in Asheville.

Read their federal bankruptcy filing here and you’ll see, once again, that they owe a lot of people a lot of money. The Bank of Asheville says it’s owed $72,000, and the Asheville Citizen-Times says it hasn’t been paid for more than $155,000 of advertising services. Wow.
