Asheville City Councilman Carl Mumpower, never one to shy away from criticizing what he deems bad politics or bad policies, has released his “Wounded Eagle Deck of Shame.” Check out the web site at www.woundedeagledeckofshame.com.

From the site:

Today in America we have our own destructive figures and organizations that have wounded our country. Collectively, they have done far more harm to America than Saddam’s henchmen could have ever accomplished. Not only is there an almost total absence of accountability, but many of these people are still calling the shots.

With an eye on the 52 people and organizations that have played a crucial role in our current economic atrocity, we have developed our own deck of cards. The mission: to illuminate these social predators and resist the cycle of absurdity that allows them to dodge responsibility and remain in positions of power.

He should add Principal Chief Michell Hicks to his list. During challenging economic times, instead of sacrifice, he has his legal team add legislation to pad his retirement benefits.
