Boobs?
b.c.w., thanks for heads up on the Black Mountain beer – i want to try that. and thanks for the reminder on the beer fest!
Dad, thanks for the link.
Hey Di! It’s about time you gave the Avetts a listen. dang! yes – go see them live. preferably at a free-loving outdoor hippie music festival in the mountains.
Finally took your advice and am currently listening to The Avett Brothers’ "Emotionalism". Hurray for the East Asheville Library’s collection of CDs. I can see why you like them, though I can’t say that I’m totally sold; however, I believe you’ve mentioned before that their live performances are wonderful, so I’ll see if I can get to a show at some point. The economy, you know. Sheesh!
I know there are huge issues to be tackled but try this for a few minutes and then get back in there and tackle those problems.

hey ash! well… since you asked…
i finally tried the new Highland Black Mountain Bitter this week and I gotta say… i hope this becomes a regular addition to the brew schedule and NOT just as a seasonal. this is a great brew, and organic to boot!
speaking of beer… the Winter Warmer Beer Festival is this weekend (Saturday) at the Haywood Park Hotel beginning around 3pm if memory serves. i’m playing there early in the event, and then scooting to the French Broad Brewery to play a gig with the lovely Leigh Glass Band immediately following. come one, come all for some great brews and tunes on Saturday, and come down to the French Broad Brewery if you’re still able for some more great music.
