Hey Ash, Citizen Times is reporting at this time – 12/23/08 at 1:45 – that she’s stepping down…
From what I hear, Betty has been so dismissive with the staff that they were on the cusp of a vote of No Confidence.
There is plenty of evidence of malfeasance on her part. Chances are she will step aside and spare herself the public theatre of a dismissal. And none too soon–A-B Tech is a great place for education, and deserves someone better than her.
Bathroom rumor:
Betty is spending too much without raising registration fees. People are pissed.
Oh do tell!!!! I hope its personal and nothing to do with cutting anything at ABTech- well, perhaps that teacher who told her class that soy turns you gay.

seriously, tell me none of the rumors have to do with layoffs.
I don’t know about A-B Tech. but her last school seems happy about a new president.

I heard something about a lawyer asking teachers to dig up dirt on Betty. But apparently no one has anything except that they all hate her. Did you know she had a rose garden planted that contained only roses with "Betty" in the name? True story.
I hope they fix whatever the problem is. I’ve taken many classes there and have always had excellent instructors and classes, except for one part-time computer graphics instructor who thought it was Junior High school all over again! I dropped that class and avoid any classes with him like the plague!
