Asheville celebrity exes sell Fairview property for pretty penny

This was an interesting property transer listed in the local newspaper today. Here’s what it said:

31.130 acres on Cane Creek Road, $1,900,000, Heidi Daugherty and Kevin Geagan to Robert P. and Lisa D. Klepper

For those of you who don’t know, Heidi Daughterty is the former wife of former UNC Tar Heel and NBA star Brad Daughtery, who grew up in Swannanoa. And Kevin Geagan is the former boyfriend of Asheville’s own starlet Andie MacDowell.

Daughtery and Geagan broke up with their respective celebrity loves a couple of years ago and hooked up, in a move that set tongues wagging in Asheville. Now it looks like they’ve made a pretty penny, to the tune of nearly $2 million, on a land sale.
