Oh, and speaking of hijacking this post, Mr. Thornhill, what’s up with this Mr. Kracher nonsense? We’ve known each other for ten-years, Mike! I say we both go with first names from here on out. Deal? I hope so.
Sorry. Too late, Mikey. Already hijacked, but for a very good cause. Long live mountain clogging. It’s one of the first things I experienced here at a Shindig On The Green and I was truly impressed. Difficult to do, easy and fun to watch.
And not to completely hijack this post for a BMC commercial, but I neglected to mention the location of Saturday’s event: Moore Auditorium at Mars Hill College.
Thanks, Mr. Kracher, but I must give credit where credit’s due. This one was put together by Teresa Buckner, our Media Relations Coordinator. I’m not sure of her aspirations to join the clogging team, but they surely cannot come anywhere close to mine.
BTW, if anyone’s interested in seeing the Bailey Mountain Cloggers, they’re holding their annual silent auction fundraiser and performance this Saturday, Nov. 15. The auction runs from 4-7pm, and the cloggers will perform at 6pm. Admission $5 for the performance.
Kudos also to one Mike Thornhill for such nice work on that release! I’ve always thought he secretly wants to be a BMC himself. Rock on, Michael and thanks to Ash for spreading the very latest in clogging news. Hey, it’s WNC! Somebody’s got to do it!!!
