Just picked my daughter(18 months) up at daycare after a hard days work. I stopped by Toys-R-Us and bought her some crayons that color in the bathtub. They work great! You simply wipe them off with a cloth when done.

*Then my devious side kicks in*

My wife, who is out of town tonight, just bought my daughter her first crayons to color with. So……I hid my crayons in the bottom of the bathtub with the rest of the toys and sprinkled my wife’s *real* crayons about upstairs including the bathroom.

I cannnot wait until she perks up after realizing that my daughter is drawing on the bathtub with crayons!

Update to follow……..if I’m not divorced by then.

I had lunch with Clark Mackey of Sparkdog. Very nice guy. We talked about all sorts of internetty geekiness over pizza at ABC. He’s one of the sponsors for the BlogAsheville Extrava.

Since you’re opening threads now and all, I reckon I’d better get to blogwhorin’:

    Three words: Art in Autumn.
I’m on the committee and it’s coming up on Saturday, so we’re in the midst of final preparations. If anyone’s coming out to the festival, I’ll be the one with a two-way radio in one hand, a camera in the other, and I’ll look like I’m really in need of a beer (or three).

Shameless plug: Art in Autumn, Main Street, Weaverville, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 100 artists, 4 bluegrass bands, food. Free admission, free parking. http://www.artinautumn.com

I’m just sitting around n’ such. It’s a typical day for me, yes I do work, but I work night shift, or third shift, or I prefer graveyard shift! so during the morning hours I mostly just, as I said, sit around. Most of the time I surf the proverbial internet, chatting on fourms and listening to my iTunes collection among other things.

I’m watching News 13 right now, it’s noon. Soon I’ll be hitting the sack and then going in for another night of work.

    Take care
