Here’s the announcement from TVPredictions.com. I didn’t pay attention to a mailing. Does anybody know what channels Charter is moving? Are they dropping anything?

Washington, D.C. (July 23, 2008) — Charter Communications is adding five new High-Definition channels in the Asheville, North Carolina area.
The new channels, which will be added August 13, will be: The Weather Channel HD, Discovery Channel HD, TLC HD, Animal Planet HD and TBS HD.
In a mailing sent last week to subscribers, the cable operator says it will move some standard-def channels to make room for the HD networks.
With the additions on August 13, Charter will offer roughly 28 high-def channels in Asheville, which is in western North Carolina.

Just happen to have the card on the table next to me. Here’s the changes they have marked:

    CPSAN2 — moving to 92
Inspirational Network — moving to 152
Toon Disney — moving to 109
Soap Net — moving to 202

They’re also adding something called Wealth TV (154) and CBS College Sports (344), along with the Hi-Def channels.

It doesn’t mention any channels being dropped.
