In the graf you blockquote, Parkside, LLC (the anonymous entity who doesn’t allow comments on his writings at PT), mentions "The Downtown Commission and the Technical Review Committee have both approved the ParkSide project."
He doesn’t mention that the Planning and Zoning committee rejected his plan. This is standard operating procedure for the Parkside plan – obfuscate and barrel ahead.
