My friends at WLOS say that Pat is on his way out the door, and the mgmt. usually cuts down the on-air time of "the talent" in just such a situation. He’s doing some reporting, but he’s not getting much time in front of the camera.
RADIOLONGAGO, WTF!
If Pat is gone, wonder who will do the token Mr. Howell big guy voice for LOS? Maybe they can get that news director at the Hendersonville redio station to come by and do his fake voice…
Even we’re not sure what happened. We just got a note saying that Pat was leaving. No reason and no note telling us where he was going. Kind of a mystery around the newsroom as well.
The New Web site is ok, but it’ll never be up to snuff until Sinclair hires a local website person. The producers, APs and Editors, who are responsible for updating it, can only do so much with what little time they have on their hands, with producing shows and all.
I agree with you Ash! I, too, wonder what’s up. I saw Pat on the 5-7 show this morning. Jay was doing weather for Julie and I guess Pat was filling in for Jay?
If you need a new job, try http://www.realmatch.com – When you add your profile, it shows you all your job matches. It was on Oprah…No I dont like Oprah that much, just thought it was cool.
