City Paper Asheville gets Web site together

The Asheville City Paper has its Web site up and running. And paper boxes are sprouting up around town.

The Raleigh Chronicle, an online newspaper, has a story on it all:

In addition, the website has a PDF verion of the newspaper’s current issue.

The well-produced print version of the newspaper has a modern layout with feature stories, opinion, local news, comics, crime report, and more.

Starting the newspaper has not been easy, but according to the editor, things are progressing.

“Starting a new newspaper is a lot like juggling flaming batons, herding cats and typing at the same time, but we’re getting there,” said Cecil Bothwell of the newspaper in a column.
