That was awesome! I wish I had been there.
Before this, the only musical "performance" I had seen at the Mushroom was a guy in the kitchen stomping around acting like his mop (or broom) was a guitar. He was lip synching to Iron Maiden or Metallica. This guy had all the air-guitar licks and knew all the lyrics. Imagine a shorter version of Jay (of the duo Jay and Silent Bob), right down to the winter hat and the stringy dirty blonde hair.
I have to say, Metal Jay: You were good, but Saki and her dad are even better.
ohhh.. I make the park playground break and freeze…and rock out with…. the whole family.
word.
Now THAT was cute! "I got more rhymes than Dr. Seuss."
Holla!
