We were just flipping around the channels Saturday night to chill after running around to Sylva and such in the afternoon when we came across Battlestar Gallactica on Channel 4/NBC. What a shock – it was entertaining and kicked ass, and if we knew there were so many babes on the show, we would have tuned in a long time ago. It’s come a long way since the 1980s TV version.

Tricia Helfer is a former Victoria’s Secret model. She plays “Number Six,” some sort of alien with a perfect body. Funny how aliens in the movies are always like that – babes.

Grace Park (Lt. Sharon Valerii) was in the martial arts butt-kicker “Romeo Must Die.” To round out her bio, it says she speaks Koren and some Cantonese (has she been to Canton to learn?) and is learning Spanish. That still can’t hide the fact that she’s a babe.

Then there’s Kandyse McClure, known as the “young Halle Barry” from what little I’ve read about her. Not sure what other acting gigs she’s had, but she’s a damn convincing Petty Officer Dualla.

We know this show has been on TV for a couple of years, but Ashvegas keeps us very busy. We’re just now picking up on it.
