Scottie gets the job (maybe)

OK, if you didn’t see it last night, Darcel totally offered Scottie the anchor job. It was all done in code, but it was done right before our very eyes.

Here’s what happened. Darcel made her offer. She wasn’t pleased about having to do it, but looking at the lack of much choice, she sucked it up and went ahead.
The Diva also sort of bowed to the Swick man, noting his obvious talents for levering his eyebrow up and dowe and looking sharp in leather jackets while on a story. At the same time, Darcel was also motioning that there was no way in hell he was going to make as much money as she is.

So Scottie, caught a little by surprise, caught his composure. He smiled. Then he quietly celebrated, Maria Sharapova-like, with a girlie fist-pump like he does. Then I think he went out and bought him and the wife a new BMW 300 series to match the Rover.

Or we could just be totally misreading the signs. We’ll let you decide.
