Lux and Thread are one in the same. The woman who created it found out that Lux was already taken I think, so she quickly changed the name to Thread… which I personally like better anyway. The first issue was awesome so hopefully the second one will be easier to find. (PS: "fellowsfog" from flickr did a lot of stuff for the magazine, and even has a profile in the back)

I found a copy of Thread at the Dripolator a couple weeks ago. Real nice full-color publication. I’ll try to dig it up and send photogs if yer interested.
Thread is a pretty great new mag covering the local arts of all kinds: they do in-depth interviews with visual artists, musicians, crafters, and other people mostly on the gen X, gen Y cusp. They have an edgy, DIY feel. The writers are often artists interviewing other artists. Their magazine is shiny and I love the pics. I found it at a coffee shop, but now I can’t remember which one.
