The big Bele Chere party is over. Done. And frankly, we’re feeling a bit broke, busted and disgusted with it all. Nothing against Bele Chere. It’s just that feeling we get after 20 hours of nonstop festing with the great unwashed.

Broke: How did we spend $80 and come away with nothing more than a headache, several trips to the Port-a-Johns and a smelly tzatiki sauce stain?

Disgusted: Why were the Budweiser Clydesdales cancelled on Saturday when it wasn’t even raining?

So yes, Bele Chere is over. But it will be back. Only 362 days and counting.
