We took a couple weeks off for vacation and you’d think the world had ended. Loyal readers worried that Ashvegas had up and disappeared or something. People begged us for news updates. And more photos.

Bob Caldwell finally announced what we announced months ago – that he was quitting at the end of July. Good for Bob. He deserves a happy retirement. We’ll certainly miss his fake laughs and his very cool outdoors reports. But after 41 years in the TV weather-guessing biz, it’s time to hang up the barometer. All the best, Bob.

Never fear – While Bob is retiring in the near future, his Outdoors reports will continue on a weekly basis as they do now! So, the WLOS airwaves will still have a little bit of Caldwell spice once a week.

Just so you know, you posted the wrong Julie as "preggers." The one preggers is actually someone in the newsroom who is not on camera.

Hate to burst the Julie Blunder preggers news…but "Mr. Wunder" and "Mrs Blunder" are separated. Word has it that she got kicked to the curb! So if she’s preggers…it ain’t Mr. Wunders!
