Got stuff that’s hard to recycle? This Saturday drop-off collection in West Asheville lets you shed lawn furniture, books, TV’s, PCs, batteries, Styrofoam, appliances and more. You can even drop off cooking oil to be used by Blue Ridge Biofuels.

Sponsors are also collecting donations: Eyeglasses will go to the One Sight program, clothing (even “unusable” clothing) will go to shelters, and pet items will go to the Asheville Humane Society.

Saturday Jan. 12, 11 a.m – 3 p.m. at Aaron’s Park Terrace Center at 1298 Patton Ave.
