WLOSers, wrong again

At the news at 11 on Tuesday night, WLOSer Kassandra “Special K” Pride was over at Ashvegas City Council covering a big meeting about a proposed development in the Beaverdam community. The owner of the Thoms Estate wants to develop the property and put more than 150 homes there, but residents don’t want the development. They don’t like the traffic and noise and the fact that developers want to make it a gated community.

So Kassandra is standing outside city hall saying city council is still talking about it. Back at the anchor desk a little later, they break in with “this just in – city council has denied” the developer’s request.

Wrong.

City council did vote to reject the development, but then came back and voted to give developers more time to change their proposal. As usual, WLOSers jumped the gun. Hope they explain it on the news tonight.

A to the P, your weather-guessers act like they already got ’em, so i guess the reporters can borrow the crystal balls from Cuervo, Blunder and Cobweb.

Uhh…it was right when they reported it. The change came…as you even mentioned…after the city council went BACK into session.

Should we give them cyrstal balls now too?
