Edgy Mama files this report:

I was just voter #346 at the North Asheville Community Center, which was fairly quiet at 3:00 p.m. The only folks outside were a couple of my neighbors passing out judicial candidate “cheat sheets.” An Asheville High School student was running the Kids Voting, which was fun, except when my kids clocked each other vying for first place in the ballot box.
Before I voted, I had to a pick up a kid at Jones Elementary, which was crazy! Voters and people trying to pick up their kids were vying for the same limited parking spots. Asheville City Schools must be all worried about snow days or something. I can think of no other reason to have school today. There were three well-dressed Charles Taylor supporters standing around at Jones under big black umbrellas. No Shulerites.

Thanks EM!
