‘Wild Wednesdays’ slash ticket prices at The Carolina

Update May 7, 2015: The cost is now $5 for everyone.

Original post Sept. 26, 2012: Starting Oct. 3, the Carolina Cinemas on Hendersonville Road will offer “Wild Wednesdays.”  All tickets throughout the day are $5, and $3 with a valid college ID.  (When I was in college, the lowest I ever got was $6!)  A surcharge for 3D films “may apply.”

Toss in the $5 Tuesdays at the Fine Arts Theater, and supporting Asheville’s independent theaters has become easier than ever.

      It’s in effect throughout the day.
