Andie MacDowell: 10,000 lesbians can’t be wrong

So Edgy Mama went to the big Indigo Girls show Saturday night at McCormick Field. She reported that the show was one big, mellow lesbo love-fest. Good show. Plenty of empty seats up front.

And Andie Mac! Yes! Lovely Andie, our own little starlet who isn’t getting married again anytime soon, partied with Amy and Emily. Here’s EM’s report:

O, and I saw Andi McDowell a few times. She came in with four of her well-coiffed Biltmore Forest lady friends, then proceeded to show herself off for the crowd. She climbed up on this wall in front of first base and sat there in this very posey way and flirted with a couple of cops, who, interestingly enough, didn’t make her move from her perch (doubt they would have let anyone else sit up there).
Every time I’ve seen her around town, it seems clear that she’s enamored with her own celebrity, which I guess is a good thing. She is eye-catching, for sure, with her mass of black curls cascading down
her ramrod-straight back. She seemed to have grown since I last saw her at Greenlife. Then I noticed she was wearing black boots with three-inch heels.

O yes. The mass of cascading curls. The ramrod back. The “yeah, I’m a movie star, beeyatch” attitude. O yes. O how we heart Andie!!!

Editor’s note: Just to be clear, Edgy Mama reports that, in fact, there were approximately 3,000 lesbians in attendance at last night’s concert, not 10,000. And about 20 men, who were in fantasy heaven all night.
