Area gas stations were slammed this evening with people sucking up gas in expectation that prices will be increasing. Gas on my street was $2.69 on my way home tonight. Who knows what it will be in the morn. A barrel of crude hit new highs today as fighting between Israel and Lebannon escalated. The local TV station was talking to people on the street worried about increasing prices. Guess we’ll start seeing stations running dry again like we did last year.
