National player of the year J.J. Redick came to Ashvegas on Saturday to play in the annual ACC-Crossfire Challenge. We hate Dook with a passion. And we hate J.J. Redick even more. But he can shoot a three-ball and is one helluva competitor. And he showed up, which is more than we can say for North Carolina’s David Noel. J.J. had a good game, but the guy who stole the show was Omar Collington, who plays for UNC Asheville. He won the dunk contest and he made a a bunch of great shots. All-in-all, it was a good show. And we left before Randy Shepherd started his preachin’.
