Story from the Hendersonville Times-News:

Radio talk show host Matt Mitten will return to the airwaves of Western North Carolina on Dec. 5, when he begins a “drive time” show on WHKP in Hendersonville.
The show will air from 5:05 to 6 p.m. weekdays, according to a news release from WHKP News and Program Director Larry Freeman.
Mittan recently left WWNC after several of his co-workers were let go by the Clear Channel-owned station. Mittan was the host of a popular talk radio, call-in, show known as “Take A Stand.” Can’t wait to find out what the format of his new show will be.
