Latest food truck to hit Asheville scene: Veggie Love

Our mission is to supply organic, healthy, top-quality entrées, snacks, smoothies, drinks, juices and desserts to the Asheville area and to regional festival and farmers’ markets attendees.

Veggie Love is gearing up for the summer! We are on our way to being a mobile vegan/vegetarian/raw kitchen. Our intention is to begin vending this summer at local farmers’ markets and regional festivals. During the winter months Veggie Love will be stationed in the city, providing Asheville with top-quality, speedy, vegetarian cuisine! Veggie Love will offer lunch time delivery to the Asheville area and will always be able to cater events.

Once the kitchen is up and running Veggie Love will be taking special orders for raw and/or vegan and/or gluten free celebration cakes, cupcakes, muffins, chocolates, cookies, snacks and meals. Veggie Love wants to make sure everyone in the community is eating nutritious and healthy meals. We believe that it is important to take care of ourselves so that we can project a healthy ecology out into our world.

My daughter and I bought and shared Veggie Love's tostada and burger today at Vegfest in downtown Asheville and they were great! Very flavorful, good texture and chock full of nutrients. Looking forward to the food truck.

We need a food truck expo in Asheville so people can try and get a look at what's available. It is a wonderful thing.

As for the eateries complaining about them? They should have one as well because it's a great way to get your name out there and bring your product to the consumer.
