Hollywood stars arrive in Asheville for ‘The Hunger Games’ rehearsals, photo shoots, etc.

Hollywood stars have been arriving in Asheville the last week for the upcoming filming of the major motion picture, The Hunger Games.

Russ Bowen of WLOS tweets on Friday:

Gary Ross in asheville directing rehearsals

Ross is the movie’s director. He’s best known for directing Seabiscuit and Pleasantville. (Both movies I liked btw.)

And Bowen today:

Willow Shields & Annie Thurman in Asheville rehearsing

The two are actresses in the movie.

Also heard that the movie’s star, Jennifer Lawrence, was in Asheville recently for a major movie photo shoot. More to come on that.

hey ash, have you seen the supposed cast list for this movie?? Ewan Macgregor?! WOODY HARRELSON?!?!? Glenn Close, Betty White?!?!?! Can't be right … if it is, you should go on Betty Watch!
