Awesome. From Girls Gone Outdoors, the blog of Asheville Citizen-Times outdoors editor Karen Chavez:

Did you ever dream of running with an ultra-running legend or with a bestselling running book author, just so you could chat them up and ask them all your burning running questions?

It’s dream day.

Christopher McDougall, author of “Born to Run: A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen,” along with seven-time Western States 100 Champion and ultrarunning legend Scott Jurek, and five-time Mount Mitchell champion, 2009 Copper Canyon Ultramarathon champion and Barnardsville resident Will Harlan, will lead a free 3-4 mile group run on the trails and roads of UNC Asheville on Friday, April 29.

The run is free and no registration is required. Just meet at 5 p.m. at the UNCA track April 29. The “Naked Run,” as McDougall is calling the pre-talk runs on his book tour, is open to runners and walkers of all levels, including barefoot runners. But wear any shoes you like.

McDougall, Jurek and Harlan will be available to answer questions and talk informally during the easy run along UNCA’s trail system.
