Our post earlier this week prompted this repsonse from Michele at the Disclaimer:

Thanks for the kind words regarding the demise of the Disclaimer. I too feel it is a loss for the community as well as myself and the other Disclaimer staff. I especially will miss doing the Disclaimer centerfolds which were my personal art projects. I would like to clarify that we had made the announcement that we would no longer be printing the Disclaimer before the Xpress approached us to be included within their paper. We are very appreciative to the Xpress, who, ironically, were the only people within our community to eXpress concern over our passing. I feel that the Xpress has been very brave to add us to their content and I hope our addition will add a much needed dynamic to their pages. I am thankful to still have a voice within the community as well as twenty-eight thousand potential new readers. We all knew that going inside the Xpress would create a “losing-their-edge” hurdle to overcome. It is out of simple respect to our new home that we will heat things up a bit before bringing anything to a boil. Thanks for your insight and feedback.
