Open house and info session Feb. 28 for UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy in Asheville

The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy will hold an open house and information session from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, at UNC Asheville’s Highsmith University Union, Alumni Hall. The open house is for high school students, college students, and college graduates interested in applying to the doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) program that will be located in Asheville. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about career opportunities in the pharmacy profession, hear faculty and student perspectives, and receive information on the professional and educational requirements for success.

The PharmD program offered in Asheville is part of a single program based at UNC-Chapel Hill. The admission and progression requirements and curriculum are the same for all students. The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy will enroll up to twenty-five students in the Asheville program’s first year.
