Boca, a new restaurant on Lexington Avenue in downtown Asheville, now open

Boca, the newest addition to Asheville’s vibrant independent restaurant scene, opened quietly on Sunday. From the restaurant’s page on Facebook:

We are closed Mondays but hope to see you Tuesday-Sunday for breakfast starting at 8:30 am and served until 3 pm; an additional lunch menu is available from 11:30 am until 3 pm; and dinner is served beginning at 5:30 pm. Please take a look at our menu, now up on bocaasheville.com.

Boca is located next to Mela, Anoop Krishnan’s popular Indian restaurant. Krishnan and partner Markus Procida have said Boca will feature food with a Tex-Mex bent. Stewart Lyon will be the restaurant’s chef.
