I hadn’t really noticed this little sitting area until the other day when I was walking by. It’s been carved out of the parking lot across the street from the Basilica of St. Lawrence in downtown Asheville. Lots of folks have wanted that entire parking lot to be turned into a park. I guess we’ll have to settle for this.

if the city throws a few bucks at it then maybe it can become overrun with homeless and/or a drum circle or two
