From loyal Ashvegas reader West is Best, in response to questions about why the graffiti wall on Roberts Street is suddenly off-limits. I recall someone telling me this summer that there was a plan to renovate the old Hatchery building nearby. I’ll try and track down more detail today:

Level One Development plan submitted to City of Asheville Development Services Center mid November to renovate existing building into multi-tenant mixed use including eatery and artist studios.  No surrounding land development proposed at this time.  Existing building improvement only.
