Accident shuts down I-40 east of Ashvegas

WLOS is reporting tonight that a fiery car wreck has shut down all lanes of Interstate 40 between exits 53 and 55 east of town. Diva Darcel said she was hearing that the interstate could be closed for five hours. That part of town is already crazy with the Wal-Mart Supercenter and Ashvegas Mall over there. Throw in holiday traffic and you’ve got gridlock.

Bottom line: stay away.
