Fresh on the entrails of the recent Asheville Zombie Walk, walk organizers have posted an intriguing teaser on their FB about next year’s event:

When somebody suggests adding a hearse the parade, the zombie walk peeps respond:

That does sound like fun! However, this is MUCH bigger than anything of the sort. Think NATIONAL in scope. Whoa…pretty crazy for something that started as a flash mob four years ago.

I have no idea what Asheville could do that would be national in scope – invite zombies from all 50 states to shamble into town, moan and chomp on some brains? But as the organizers said, what started as a flash mob four years ago with about 50 people has turned into an event that turned out about 2,000 of the undead just a couple of weeks ago.
