Here’s the info from Consequence of Sound and WNC Magazine:

Yes, on Thursday, October 21st, Consequence of Sound and WNC Magazine want to get you buzzed – literally and metaphorically – for what will undoubtedly be one of the most talked-about music festival weekends of the year. So, here’s the good news. The whole event will be absolutely free…that is, if you’re a festival pass-holder. For everyone else, you’ll need to throw down $10 dollars at the door.

If the name King Britt rings a bell, there’s a good reason for that. For one, he’s scheduled to perform at MoogFest on Friday night, where he’ll be performing alongside multimedia artist Rucyl, under the project name: Saturn Never Sleeps. But secondly, this Philadelphia-born DJ has been around the block – in a good way. He’s toured with Digable Planets (as “Silkworm”), his music’s been included on the likes of True Blood and Michael Mann’s underrated 2006 update of Miami Vice, and he founded Ovum Recordings. If that weren’t enough, he’s a huge collector of vintage synthesizers. Dare we say that he’s quite fitting for the weekend, huh?

Remember, however, that this event is only free to weekend pass-holders. You’ll need your wristband to gain access; otherwise, we’ll need to see some Hamiltons. Okay?
