The Beer Guy, aka Tony Kiss of the Asheville Citizen-Times, launched the Asheville Beer Engine today. It’s a searchable database that allows users to browse local craft brews.

Keeping up with the beer scene in Beer City USA can be mind-boggling. Seasonal beers come and go, there are special releases and there’s always something going on. It’s hard to believe that you can find more than 60 different locally made beers around Asheville. How do you keep up? Use the beer database. Check it, y’all.

FYI there is also an Asheville Breweries Droid app (might be on iPhone too, don't know) that shows local brewery locations in Google maps.
