Reading banned books at Spellbound Children’s Bookstore

The day-long reading at Spellbound Children’s Bookstore was great. Store owner Leslie Hawkins said lots of people came out – though she wished more children came to listen. The books that were read, although “banned” at times in their history, were really tame. It was a great event. Here, a member of the Blue Ridge Roller Girls (several team members read and listened throughout the day) reads to a group gathered at the store.
