Friends, family will honor the life of Asheville filmmaker Margaret Lauzon with public memorial on Saturday

Margaret Lauzon was an amazing person who touched many lives. Please join us as we get together to remember her and pay our respects. We’ll be showing some footage of Margaret and the projects she worked on, we’ll trade stories about her and celebrate the day she was born, 35 years ago. Music will be provided by Jenny Greer, Woody Wood, Christina Aurea and more. 

If you have video of Margaret, please send it to Jessica at [email protected]. If you would like to sing/ play at the memorial, please contact Jenny at [email protected]. If you cannot attend and would like to send a letter to be read, or if you would like to send photos for a slideshow; please send them to Erin at [email protected].

In Lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted a the service or mailed to Echo Mountain at 175 Patton Ave to be send to her family or used for her films.

    OMG – I went to UNCA with Margaret; we were mass comm majors. I had obviously lost touch with her over the past few years. She was such an awesome girl!!! I'm sad to learn she lost her battle with cancer 🙁
