Don’t know if the new bridge on the property that crosses the French Broad can handle the traffic or the weight to supply a hotel.
There is no Biltmore bridge over the French Broad … there is one over the Swannanoa River and I believe it was built for agricultural traffic so that trucks do not use the main entrance.
Wrong. It’s true that there is a side entrance with a small bridge over the Swannanoa, but there is most definitely a more substantial bridge over the French Broad as well. The Google Maps satellite image linked below was taken while it was under construction, but now it’s fully connected. When it was being built, the Company assured everyone that it would never be used by guests, only by Estate vehicles.

I stand corrected.
Yes, maybe the rumors are mixed up. I wouldn’t understand with all of that property and the 1.2 million dollar bridge across the French Broad they built, why put a new hotel directly below the original Inn?
It sounds like this is in addition to hotel rumors on biltmore property closer to brevard rd?
I think what I’m hearing is new hotel will be built near Antler Village and not on the west side if the property.
