Where is Darcel . She has not been on since you let my favorite go.

  2. Reading Stu Helm makes me never want to read ashvegas again. He uses crude language to no effect . It makes no sense how he writes about food. Often crude language is used when one does not know how to write effectively. Just don’t see his value to your site.

  3. Please sign me up for all email updates if this subscription service is still available. Thanks! Cheryl

  10. pulled in here this 4th of July to see if there was any good scoop on a killer hot dog here in Asheville, partially growing up in the land of mighty Hot Dogs CHICAGO I was craving a tasty one with a slice of tomato and celery salt.

  11. Hello: My name is Rena Wright and I am a member of the Asheville Time Bank, an organization that I hope you’ll be open to allow me to share on your Facebook site. Asheville Timebank is part of an international organization and I hope a movement that will catch on fire in Asheville. We currently have 90-something members. But would love to get the word out. Please let me know if we can post on your site. For instance, we have a monthly potluck coming up on June 29th. Thanks for publishing your wonderful community service. Hope to hear from you! Rena

  12. Many articles in news recently about good employees being let go and replaced with foreign workers. Are former Mission Hospital employees ready to spill their guts about jobs going to India, entire departments dissolved, anesthesiologists fired because their local office would not join the Mission powerhouse, long-time employees with great benefits and high wages replaced with new graduates….and that is not all. When will Mission be investigated?

  20. Just curious why not ONE presidential candidate has come to Asheville to campaign and the elections are Tuesday-Greenville and the upstate had almost if not every single person running deluge the area sometimes more than once in the month preceding the SC Primary yet Asheville and WNC have not seen one-Is WNC on the radar for any of these guys-republican or Democrat-I just find it strange and a little disappointing as a few of them have campaigned in the middle and eastern part-it seems to be the same ole same ole-WNC isn’t a part of the state machine or environment-just the step child.

  21. Thanks, but you misspelled my name!
