When’s it going to open?
Pour is now open. It will be open Saturday 1pm-12am, Sunday 1-9pm, Mon-Thurs. 4-11pm
So what happens if a beer is pouring super foamy? Does the customer pay for that?
From what I gather, it has a liquid flow meter before the tap, to track the serving size.
Price per ounce? Realize it may vary with brand, but a range?
Generally less than 50 cents, from what I saw
If you like a particular one ounce pour, can you get a regular glass?
Yes, all types of glassware are available. We have pint glasses, footed ale glasses, Belgium glasses, flight glasses, and goblets.
You can pour as little as an ounce or up to a full glass. You get to decide, that’s the fun part.
I have seen similar concepts with wine in the past, but never with beer.
Props to Pour for stepping from behind the curtain to address questions directly.
They’re going to have some wines on tap, as well, from what I saw last night.
This is going to be a one of a kind spot! A neighborhood place to hang out and play games and taste some awesome beer! What could be better? Oh, add the food from next door.
LOL.
According to the C-T, Asheville Growler is closed up.
We’ve been down there recently and parking was a BITCH. Bank lot full, street spots full, lots around Westville/Bakery full. Does this place have it’s own lot? ~ Curious
No, and don’t park across the street in the parking lot or you will get towed.
After 5pm you can park across the street by Hops & Vines and also a gravel lot below that. That’s a total of 20 spots. Further west on Haywood there is lots of free parking spots on the street that are available at night.
Hope to see you soon!
That tap line looks like a modified urinal.
Ah, you beat me to the punch.
Especially the way the light in the picture makes it look like a curved basin…
so excited for pour to open!!! 🙂
Can you take it to go?
Pour Taproom will be selling Growlers too! So in some since, yes you can take it to go!
Go to Savannah or NOLA for that!
Yes! We have growlers to go.
This looks awesome. I had heard a place like this was opening in WAVL and am very excited to see it in action.
